Mi Familia; Destined Inevitable Bond

I stumble to a footballer quote when the idea to be back posting in this rusty blog come. This footballer is not my idol, but the quote does touch the heart, saying this way "If we can't help our family, who are we going to help??"
Regardless the quote is really from this footballer, but in my personal opinion this sentence is meaningful. Let's start with the narrower scope of what's so called as family, which is our main family, the core root where we were born. If we can be honest with our
own self, we will not be able to calculate how much we have owed to our family, in this case parents. No matter how bad they are, how they have "created" and bring us to life and live this world is something so worthy and priceless. Well, we might say "I did not ask to be born here.", but can we deny the fact that we are now here, alive? Even to those parents who abandon thir child for certain reasons, the child still have to be thankful for the chance given to live. The chance to taste the sweets as well as the bitters of this life. Yes, perhaps in this circumstance the thankfulness is different from those who are raised in a complete and loving family, but they still have to even if it's just as big as mustard seed.
Back to the quotation, to help the family. I maybe sometimes have wrongly perceive the understanding of being helpful. But from the beginning I have my own priority of where to put my efforts in providing help or assistance. When some people prefer to be busy building what so called as egoistic community of friendship, I would prefer mingle doing random stuff or nothing in the family. I don't mean to say that those "stupid" friendships are useless, but rather than to put more efforts in setting where the priority is and when the timing is.
Going broader in the understanding of a family, we may find people whom we have considered as family eventhough we actually don't have blood bond. This one will remain unexplained how. This will not happen to all of the people we meet or know, but only a few of them. In this case, many of us sometimes are too kind so that we wrongly put our priority to set our effort and time to provide help. We focus to those who is actually far in bond, while there are actually those near us who also need our time. Explicitly saying, we often look so kind to those we meet on the street, but neglecting the near ones.
Me myself, have met some people who are also meaningful for me in aspect of kindness and kinship. The people whom I can randomly spend times with, talking shit, sharing experiences and thoughts about any sort of topics. If I were asked to explain how I can be so close and consider them like my family, the question will remain in vain for I would not be able to explain. Well, we don't have to explain everything, do we?
To close with, maybe we need to re-think where we have started to put our effort on. Whether we have put our family as our first priority or random people just for the sake of popularity. On top of all, any wise and good saying or quotation is only bull shit without deeds. And honestly, this is the hardest part in current life, where we are exposed to freedom to share anything, where "share" button plays important role in changing and confusing our thoughts. The footballer is not one of my favorites, but I believe he is one of your idol. Here is the man along with the meaningful quote:

## this has no intention to insult, but simply a self reflection
